Hi, I'm Solana. I'm currently a grad student at Johns Hopkins. I have two undergraduate degrees in software development and cybersecurity. I've been working in the tech industry for 8 years. I have a huge passion for animals and animal rights. I've been vegan for 4 years and love volunteering bimonthly at a local farm rescue. I'm a bubbly person who matured early due to a complicated upbringing. I have had to overcome anxiety and depression caused by trauma to reach my goals in life. I aspire to encourage others to treat the earth as they would treat their own home. My biggest accomplishment was volunteering in Macedonia. I worked with the ministry of health to implement a program to track trends around neonatal mortality. I face multiple physical challenges that are difficult to diagnose. I've never let these get in the way of supporting myself and my dreams. I'm happily married and have been with my spouse for more than 7 years. In my downtime I love cooking, hiking and painting.
